Flu is a contagious virus that can cause severe illness, especially in vulnerable groups. The flu vaccine is offered each year to help protect those at higher risk, including:
- People aged 65 and over
- Pregnant women
- Individuals with certain health conditions
- Young children and primary school-aged children
If you are eligible, you have several options for getting vaccinated:
- Contact our surgery to book an appointment
- Find a pharmacy that offers NHS flu vaccines (if you’re aged 18 or over)
- Book a flu vaccination appointment online or in the NHS app (if you’re 18 or over)
To check your eligibility, please call our surgery or visit the NHS flu vaccine page. We encourage eligible patients to get vaccinated to protect themselves and those around them.
